im kind of hoping that the next elder scrolls game they think of being able to combine races, not so much having perks from both in one character but you being able to chose , almost like your chosing traits that you inherit from mother and father type thing, i think it would be really interesting to have a half nord half mer or even a argonian, man combo, they wouldnt hvae to get to crazy like an argonian/khajit mix but something, and maybe a little more detail sculpting wise for us console users, pc gets all the mods but nothing for ps3 or xbox, any opinions?

I personally don't find the idea appealing some people might but I think that the idea is... unattractive especially when I think about what they might look like

In lore, you take on the race of your mother, but you can inherit a few traits from your father. So if that was done in a lore-friendly way and say, your mother was a Bosmer and your father an Imperial... You would still be a Bosmer, though with one or two Imperial traits. I don't think you should be able to mix races like half/half. But if you could choose the race of your mother for the basic looks and stats, and the race of your father for one or two traits, then yeah.

id just like to have , say a bosmer who tend to be little compared to some races but instead if the father was a nord then hed be big and tall, but still have the main traits of a bosmer, or an orc that maybe more human looking, i mean lore wise you could always say he/she was shunned from the normal society because they were not like the others, which lets face it happens in the normal world anyways i think lore wise it could still hold some merit and i mean for those who doint like it they dont have to do it but depending to the player lore can play into it anyway you want
