So I have messed around lately with fallout 3 and it's quite stable and running very smooth.
But installing and running an antivirus program seems to cause ctd's.

I have tried with bitdefender totalsecurity 2013 (firewall, antivirus and a whole lot of crap in one)
Tried with kaspersky antivirus 2013 and also casued a ctd.

So I wonder if someone knows if I can managed to run fallout 3 with an antivirus program or have to rely without it.

So far I have managed to be clean and safe haven't had any viruses so far.
But I do tend to browse the darker and shadier parts of the internet which is not so secure.

Any suggestions perhaps?

The crashes comes after within 10 minutes with antivirus program.
