Rumor: EA shutting down Partners program, end of crysis IP?

Post » Thu Apr 25, 2013 7:07 pm

I just came accross this link:

http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2013/04/24/ea-partners-facing-closure.aspx

Were it is rumored that EA is shutting down their EA partners program basically cutting the studios connected to that lose and leave them without a publisher.

Could this mean the end of the crysis IP?? I remember something stating that it is owned by EA and not Crytek? Anyone having more insight in this?

I thought Crytek "left" EA after Crysis 3 anyway

Believe it or not.i'm actually happy that Crytek is not held by EA anymore.now they(i think) have the time to do what they want and release the product when it's finished.but that doesn't mean it's the end of Crysis ip,i don't know if it's hard for Crytek to publish their game or not.

Like that, maybe they are going to stop producing 1000% nearly pointless commercial game and start again to produce real original game like FarCry and Crysis was.

It could be a good new...
