Where do you look for Alchemy recipies?

Post » Fri Apr 26, 2013 5:38 am

I realize there's a built-in mechanism for players who want to discover the characteristics of alchemical ingredients, but for those of us who are willing to break immersion, please share your favorite sources of recipes. I've found a couple good sites but I can't help but feel I'm not getting everything I can out of my stock pile. Sorry for bubbling this back to the top, I'm sure it's been addressed before but I'm always amazed at how fast information and sites change/improve so I'm throwing this out once more.

A couple good sites (not good interfaces, mind you, just good information):
  • http://rp.eliteskills.com/skyrim.html
Thanks!

I can't provide a link but Darlianders alchemy lab is a great source for recipes.

I use this Android app on my phone -

http://www.appszoom.com/android_applications/entertainment/skyrim-alchemy-helper_bsfvp.html

It costs $0.99, but it's extremely useful. The nice thing about having it on the phone is I don't need to Alt-Tab back and forth between the game and a website.

The second one listed in the OP is one of the best. However, I admit to just referring to the UESP.

D***! The site says the app is no longer available for Android. What the what, man! I like the idea of using a phone app. I'll check the Android market...

I just checked the Google Play Store and using "Skyrim alchemy" returned a few results, some of them free.

Well, damn. If my app's no longer being supported, I may have to look for something else.

Yeah, sorry about that, but at least we now know. I just bought the 'Skyrim Crafter' app which include smithing recipes as well. I'll post a review after I have a chance to get up to speed with it. It's not free, but at a buck-something ($1.35?) I'm hoping to dodge adverts.
