So i8 was nice enough to challenge a 1v1. The rules were that it was cool if I could use any loadout I wanted (as well as i8) and I was to play on their server. Thanks again guys, hope to do it again soon and you're a very good player!



It's not overly exciting but still pretty intense as I'm not a competitive player.

This is the most compelling evidence I've ever seen to get laser tweaked and rapidfire nerfed. Nice vid.

WOW great video, regardless of the outcome. It was cool to see 1 guy call out another and have them 2 take it out in game. Way too much....you noob this you noob this....with NO resolution. Its easy to be an Ethug.....but you need to settle it on the "schoolyard".

BEFORE this turns into a laser vs ????.....Cylon was called out, and was told that he could be beat with WHATEVER loadout he wanted to use.

Coolguy is NO slouch....none of the IAM guys are....and after reading all his posts, he is quite the student of the game.

It is ashame how the match ended though.

Thank you for posting this vid, now crytek can see the problem first hand with 4 of the 5 main issues with MP balance.

Rapidfire was nerfed? wasn't it.


I think the video was funny, as coolguy probably didn't want to win to make a point. hahaha. He probably chose the grendel for that reason.


DDD usually is the first to point out where certain combinations or weapons are overpowered to the extent of murdering noobs and clearing their servers

i8 usually points out where certain combinations or weapons are overpowered to the extent that they feel that they 'have' to use that combo to be 'competitive'

Unfortunately I get a horrific ping to i8s server or i'd play there more, last game I was 300-350 o.O I thought they had a US server.
