I have a weird problem with Fallout 3.

Every time I exit from this game, then I see the white and other clear colours (for example of text and internet pages), too greeny and/or reddish. I suppose that is due to the colours in the game. Is there a mode to decrease them without modify Monitor settings? Because I've this problem only with Fallout 3.

I also have some mods installed:

Nmcs Textures, Fallout 3 Redesigned-Project Beauty and Fallout 3 Re-Animated (maybe also an armor retexture mod).

Uhm...thanks, now is slightly better, but problem still remain. Only with Fallout 3 there is this problem.

It sounds to me like me like either your monitor or your video card may be on the fritz. There's no way that should be happening unless there was something wrong with either of those. The problem is definitely not with the game though, it has to be something to do with your hardware.

There are some images on the web that you can use to calibrate your monitor, and I recommend them. However, they can't do the color balance as well (you need mylar color filters to see what you need to change).

But, you should be able to get it close without the Mylars. If you can't get rid of the Green Tint, then try swapping out the monitor. But, the chances of a monitor swap fixing this went away with the death of CRTs.

Thanks, I'll try it. Anyway, I've problems also if I see the screen of my phone after played Fallout 3. As I said before, the wird thing is that I play so many games, but only Fallout 3 has these problems.

Maybe you should get your eyes checked then. That's obviously not a hardware or game problem.

Well there's no way that your computer game can be affecting your cell phone display as well, unless the problem is with your eyes. There's something unusual going on, there can no other explanation. It's entirely possible that they may not be checking some things because what you're experiencing is so unusual. If they're made aware of what's happening, they may choose to explore other tests that they haven't bothered with before. It may even be possible that your line of work might even be the cause of it. I suspect that things can get pretty bright during a fire, that may be having an affect on your vision

What kind of monitor do you use? If your saying other games do not give your eyes this temporary effect ... its possible how fallout 3 utilizes and renders the graphics is the problem . Which then is something inherent in your eyes and/or just noticed by you. Fallout 3 is very green and redish brown by default. But the monitor you use can have drastic effects on how bright things appear. I will try and take notice of this game causing effects on my eyesight after.

Im certainly aware that my eyes can see funny colors on the monitor after certain screens and the amount of time I spent looking at them.

Add edit: simply changing the hertz frequency that your monitor refreshes might help alleviate this symptom.
