Matureadvlt content

You cannot link directly to any page that displays or promotes any kind of nudity, nudity mods, sixually explicit mods or child killing mods. Additionally, we do not allow thread topics that relate to creating child killing mods.

You are allowed to link to mod sites which may also contain child killing and nudity mods elsewhere on them, but you may not link to the mods directly on that site. And you must always direct a user to a disclaimer page before the user enters your site warning them that such content exists on the site, that they are not affiliated with Bethesda Softworks, and that Bethesda Softworks doesn't condone nor is it responsible for any of the content on that site.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What exactly does "advlt/Mature Content" include?

A: Mature/advlt content can be defined as anything that contains nudity or a sixually explicit subject matter. We also define mods involving Child Killing as mature content.

User made and modified in game characters depicting children must be fully clothed and not be posed in a way to be considered provocative. The moderators have full authority to determine this and issue warns/suspensions/bans if required.
Likewise any screenshots depicting child killing will also be dealt with accordingly.

Q: What exactly does "Nudity" include?

A: Nudity is defined as showing genitalia and/or women's nipbles. This includes nudity that is completely exposed or visible through semi-transparent materials.

Q: What needs to be on the disclaimer page?

A: The disclaimer page needs to warn the user that such content exists on the site, that they are not affiliated with Bethesda Softworks, and that Bethesda Softworks does not condone and is not responsible for any of the content on the site the disclaimer page links to.

Also, in the case of comprehensive lists of mods or mod sites, a general disclaimer at the top of the list is sufficient. However if you would rather put a disclaimer by each pertinent link instead that is also acceptable.

Q: Can I create a disclaimer thread on a forum other than the official Fallout forum and link to that disclaimer thread?

A: Yes, you can create a disclaimer post on another forum and link to that. In fact, you could even have a list of mods underneath your disclaimer post. This may be a good way to direct people to mods that you can't directly link to through the official forums.

Q: Is there a pre-made disclaimer page I can use?

A: We have created a simple disclaimer page that you can link to. It's fairly easy to use. Simply type the following in place of your normal link:
http://fallout.gamesas.com/eng/links/privacyredirect.php?site=http://www.google.com
Then, substitute www.google.com with your mod or modwebsite URL. If you use it correctly, it should look like THIS!

Please note: For some sites like Planet Elder Scrolls, you may need to change the "&" that is at the very end of the link, before the id, with a "%26".
For example this link:
http://fallout.gamesas.com/eng/links/privacyredirect.php?site=http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=827
would be changed to:
http://fallout.gamesas.com/eng/links/privacyredirect.php?site=http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail%26id=827

Q: Can I link to the website for a mod with advlt content, or to the mod itself, as long as that site doesn't have any pictures? What if I include a disclaimer in my post?

A: In all of these cases the answer is no. It's not acceptable to simply include a disclaimer in your post, and even if that site doesn't have pictures you still can't link to it. We don't like this sort of content as it creates problems for us, so you'll have to be a little forgiving when dealing with our rules. If you have a question about what percentage of a site can contain these kinds of mods, there's a good chance you're going to have a problem with it.

Q: I have a website with some advlt content, could I simply create a disclaimer page on there that people could link to?

A: If your site is a mod hosting site, and you post a link from this forum, then that link needs to go to a disclaimer page first. If your site focuses solely on advlt content (nudity/six mods) then you will not be allowed to link to it from this forum, even if you were to use a disclaimer page. We simply do not want people linking directly to advlt content from this forum.

Q: What if I want to link to my forum which allows nvde images to be posted?

A: As long as the main purpose of the fan forum was not about nvde mods/content, then you could link to that forum. But if the forum is dedicated to advlt/nudity mods, then we would not allow them to be linked to through our forums. Also, the link to your forum will still need to go to a disclaimer page first.

Q: Fallout 3 is rated Mature so why can't we link to websites with mature content?

A: It's true that Fallout 3 is rated. Regardless, these forums are rated 13+ and have always been rated 13+. If you want a Fallout forum that allows advlt content, there are plenty out there.
