PS3 version question?

Post » Sat May 04, 2013 10:35 pm

So for a long time now I've owned the PS3 version of Fallout 3. Coming up soon is a sale on all Fallout add ons. I was wondering; How well does Fallout 3 run on PS3 with all the add ons installed? The reason I ask is because New Vegas was barely playable with all the DLC installed, so I'm weary. Appreciate any feedback :tops:

From what I understand, you can have two of the DLC going and it's OK. I don't know if it is better to have one a time. The nice thing is the DLC does not overlap and only one of them you would want to go back to all the time for the player home.

The game requires more than one play to experience all the content. 4 to cover all the major plot lines. So, you can add a DLC or two to each play.

Dont really know how well it will run, im on XBox and it runs fine.

How much will it be for all DLC? I only ask because I just bought a new copy of GOTY F3 for under 15$, and I believe the PS3 version is even cheaper.

So what about weapons? If I uninstall The Pitt wont I loose the exclusive gear I received from that DLC?

Also, what DLC are you refering to with the player home?

You don't understand, one or two DLC's per character.

You have to create another character, or fork one before you install any DLCs (they are not needed for the game as everything takes place off map). So, you could start a character, then once you have done enough of the regular game, fork your save a few times and then you can load one or two DLCs and play.
