Red Racer

Hi there

I've been modding #mwat ( http://azuras-touch.com ) for eight years now, and from month #2 on, i wanted to retexture added racers etc to add a visual clue as to their main Power, like red feathers for a firebird. Two years ago i found out about gimp and nifskope, and remeshing weaponry, armour etc has been rather successful, as far as i'm concerned.

BUT...

Many animated objects, like creatures and gauntlets, refuse to turn up in game after assigning new textures to them in NifSkope. Some animated objects (e.g. Crossbows) turn up nicely.

I guess i'm nearly there but missing one crucial clue. Frustrating. The Mod would be awesome with retextured creatures. Any suggestion would be ever so welcome.

Tha't because, aside from retexturing the .nif file, you also need to retexture the creature's .kf file, otherwise it won't work.
