Love this game, love the community, I'm just stuck and really need some assistance on this.

Before asking, I have reinstalled, I have updated my mods, I have done a clean reinstall, and done just about everything perfectly to get this to work.

I played a full playthrough with Dawnguard fine, but when I went to do another play through, and get to the quest Bloodline, and release Serana from her crypt, she has in the dialogue, "Come with me," but doesn't move, just walks directly to Windpeak Inn, and doesn't follow. She talks as if she's in my group. I can't get her to party up with me to save my life so I can lead her to Volkhar.


I've found this thread talking recently about the same issue- however I didn't find the fix this person found, doesn't anyone have any suggestions?

So, after rescuing Serana from the crypt, she tries to walk out the front
gate, which is now closed, and never asks me to take her home. She
talks about home a little, but doesn't actually ask me to escort her
back. Requests to "Come with me" she acknowledges, and then goes and
does whatever she wants. Ultimately, she winds up at Windpeak Inn and stays there, no matter what. getstage DLC1VQ02 returns 6.

After some tracing, the source of the problem appears to have been a DLC1_QF_DLC1VQ01COPY0000_01002F65.pex file in my Data\Scripts
folder. Removing that, Bloodline starts as normal, but why it was there
in the first place is a mystery to me. (So tomorrow, I get to play
through Dunhollow Crypt for the fourth time in a row...oh yay.)" ~ Robin Hood

Please help, this is an awesome DLC and I can't start it without Serana joining me to accompany her to Volkhar????
