I've played through this DLC numerous times, then today I read on UESP that there's supposed to be a conversation with Miraak when you reach the summit of Apocrypha. Every time I have played this through, I land Sahrotaar, Miraak says something to his dragons about greeting their guest and just stands there like a moron. Upon attempting to talk to him, he then says that the time for talking has passed and attacks me.

I was completely unaware that there is supposed to be a dialogue between him and the player.

Any idea why time after time I have missed this conversation? I'd very much like to listen to it the next time I play...

Talking to him wasnt an option for me. I think Bethesda just flushed that oppurtunity down the toilet for god knows what reason.

On the wiki and UESP pages it had the dialogue, maybe it's not able to be listened to or something? .__.

What system are You using? I get the speech every time, I am on a PC and am using all of the Unofficial Patches.

PC currently, he just stands there looking upwards at his dragon hovering above and does nothing until I try to speak to him and that starts the fight. I had the same issue though when playing on Xbox when I first downloaded Dragonborn, I thought that's how it was supposed to happen. x_x

I always get the speech.

Maybe try a reload?

I reloaded dozens of times, guess I have to try another character.

Here is what he is supposed to say:

"And so the First Dragonborn meets the Last Dragonborn at the summit of Apocrypha. No doubt just as Hermaeus Mora intended. He is a fickle master, you know. But now I will be free of him. My time in Apocrypha is over. You are here in your full power, and thus subject to my full power. You will die. And with the power of your soul, I will return to Solstheim and be master of my own fate again. Kruziikrel! Relonikiv! Now!"

And he did say this to me on my Xbox copy, before we did Glorious Battle.

I wish mine was epic...I literally transformed into a VL for that fight as a way of saying: "You aren't even worth wasting my full power on. You are far too weak for that."

In the end, I decimated him. I was faster, and could use his dragons as my own health source.

Not much of speech. And not much of a fight, i have to be caraeful not to do too much damage to him or the battle gets glitched
