I for one cannot wait ........

Till Serana and I part ways, repetitive verbal diarrhea, constantly in my way and her dagnabbit summons. Wow, more power to you people who enjoy monkeys on your back that dont shut up, knew there was a reason why everytime Lydia was forced upon me to follow me around I would lead her far from Whiterun and introduce her to my axe in her skull.

To me true warriors need no stragglers.

How I would love to one shot Serana with my crossbow loaded with a rusty steel bolt between the lookers.

Rant over ..... edited due to my potty mouth. Thanks for the heads up.

She shuts up after you get to the Soul Cairn, if you mean the "yes? What do you need my friend?" bit.

Patience is a virtue. I realize it practically goes against human nature but still.

Might want to edit your curse word since it goes against the rules to evade the word censor.

I didn't like Serana either, her constant raising of the dead annoys me.

Soul Cairn is the worst, trying to keep positive while searching for them Jiub pages just adds to her annoyances. Can only imagine how other followers are, bunch ninja kill stealers too lol.

I just do the missions then after the questline I go back and look for the pages. I don't mind Serana but I like going solo.

I don't use companions period. And when I am forced to I usually just use them as a pack-mule.

When does Lydia get forced on you?

She began to get on my nerves as well. Always pushing her way in front of me, like a bored 5yo that wants to make sure you still know she's there.

However! After I dropped her for a while and picked up someone else, I really began to appreciate her as a follower. Everyone else is so wooden. You sit down and they just stand behind you and stare, they're constantly behind you so it's easy for me to completely forget they're there, and many of them just can't carry their weight in a fight.

Like with Lydia, I have to defend her so that she doesn't die. It's as if she isn't even there. Useless.

Now, I still do prefer to go solo, especially since I like to run in Vampire Lord Form (and Serana severely nerfs my health drain), but on my Nord Barbarian/Werewolf I'll likely keep her around just because of her unique scripting and she complements his fighting style well.

I had no issues with her being a follower except that she always hit me with her icy spears. :stare:

I liked her at first. Even made a topic about her. I can't take it anymore. I hate her so much. My favorite: for every quest given to me when she was with me, she stood in front of the quest giver, so close to me, I never saw the actual giver speak.

Now, I am rocking through the Dawnguard quest line just to get rid of her. I punish her by making her wear Forsworn Armor, giving her no weapons, and every 15 minutes or so if we are traveling, I turn around and hit her with Dawnbreaker. If you have the Dawnguard Rune Hammer, you can attach a rune to her back, as she runs by, destroying your stealthy ambush, and watch with satisfaction as she crawls around in agony on the ground after the explosion.

Yeah, I've come to hate her that much.

I dont remember given the choice to take her on as a companion, is it Ulfric who burdens you with her presence? Just feels forced like I "need" the help. Lone wolf by nature.

People are impatient so of course a lot of people can't stand her.

Can you trigger "Follower has left your service" by telling her to "wait here" and then waiting a bunch of hours?

Alternatively, you can have her wait at the entrance to each big cell and effectively not have to have her by your side.

I enjoyed her company. So much so that she's always my main follower.

Probably won't work since you pretty much require her companionship during the DG MQ so I don't think she'll just leave.

You still need her for the quest line.
