Think I'll just make a werewolf focused build.

Post » Sun May 05, 2013 6:13 pm

Skills:

Light armor

One-handed

Blocking

Sneaking?

Dat epic werewolf skill.

The idea is to make an agile warrior with one blade and light armor. Maybe I will add sneaking for those fancy ambushes.

Stone:

Either the lord stone or the warrior stone.

Factions:

The Companions

Stormcloaks (Yeah a puppy joins the rebels, why not? :D)

Dawnguard

Well, first I will get to the companions questline to become a werewolf, get the ring of Hircine and then continue with the questline. Eventually I will start with Dawnguard, which is where the fun is going to happen.

So yeah, this seems rather simple, but it should work. Ever did this before? Suggestions?

You could look at the Wolves Den thread in the Cheats, Hints, Spoilers section. If you have questions we can answer (gods knows we need a subject). There we have various challenges, hints and tips for viewing and to help with fighting as a lycan.

My current character specializes in those skills but has archery as well. Sage Frostfur is a huntress of some skill but also a lycan.

As for suggestions we have a list in the thread of suggestions on stacking abilities and stones and the like. Good luck and happy hunting.

Very good idea indeed, I think playing as a werewolf, would be a very good build for a character in skyrim, I currently play as a dark elf because I was a huge fan of morrowind.

First let me say you did a great job at organizing your build. I might even use it myself. I'm not big on the werewolf thing. I became one in my first playthrough and I loved it at first, but the more I played as werewolf, the less I enjoyed it. It just felt like it was out of place, like I was playing another game. But using your build, it looks like you might just have a lot of fun with it. This is all just my opinion anyway, so just discard it at your leisure.

Yeah I looked around before, but I did not really knew what to talk about. haha.

I considered archery, but I can't stand the idea of a weapon just randomly appearing out of nowhere. It's the same reason why I can't dual wield, because only one blade is shown.

So instead I decided to make a rogue type of figure, with one long blade in the hand. I might add smithing in there aswell, not sure, considering crafting weapons and improving seems like a nice touch.

Thanks, I always try to organize my build the best I can. I tend to show builds quite alot because I have issues picking one. :D

Who knows an unusual form would be exactly what I needed, and Lycanthrophic Dragonborn may be the perfect thing.

But I'll get to the main quest fairly late in game.

We've been at a loss for a subject for some time. Anyways. The first post should have been a list with things to "stack", by adding those effects before you transform they will carry over. So those little tidbits you could use to beef yourself up before going to battle. The challenges are just stuff we came up with to have something interesting to do.

As for the thing with archery. You have to rp it. I rp having 2 knives in a dual scabbard on my hip on the left side and a waraxe on the right, then I have my Black Huntsman's Bow slung over my shoulder with the quiver of a few dozen arrows.

I'm also in First Person view so I rarely have to look at how the weapons are placed/organized.

Yeah I play almost always in 3rd person. And I am quite a perfectionist. :P
