so, my pc will be arriving on monday, and I was wondering, how to hotkeys work on mage characters on pc? DO i still have to double tap a number in order to get a certain spell on my right hand? Or is it like 1 - 5 for left hand and 6 - 0 on right?????

um....thats with the controller.....i meant with keyboard....and it doesnt really explain if i still have to double tap in order to get a spell in the right hand.....

um... I know. This is what I use.

And yes, you still must double tap for the right hand.

This controller config was the first mod I implemented when I moved to the PC and I still use it to this day. It grants 8 hotkeys in lieu of the standard 2.

that is EXTREMELY annoying, because im doing a character right now that has a shield in the left, and uses spells in the right.....so i always have to get rid of my shield in order to switch spells, either that, or constantly scroll through the favorites.....

It has been a gripe ever since the release. Unfortunately, there is no way to even mod that function into the game. At least this has been the response from several well learned mod authors.

Yeah you still have to double tap. It's annoying, but you'll get used to it. Unless you're constantly switching in something from 6-8 you can switch through them pretty quickly.

If only i could put my shield n the RIGHT arm, this would be much simpler....
