How to contact a Mod?

Post » Tue Apr 06, 2010 6:19 pm

Recently I took the time in Oblivion to wright up a very long and detailed Guide to character creation. I did it because one did not exist and I have free time right now. I worked really hard on it, and revised it many times. I was wondering 1st off does the community think it is good enough, and if not what could I do to make improvements.

Please do read it and have constructive criticism.

Secondly when it is good enough, how do I go about asking a mod to sticky it?

Stickies are for more official things usually, if your guide is good then it'll stay on the front page, thats how the free market works my man.

You can PM a mod, they are very helpful and do not bite I assure you... most of the time anyway...

Go to http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?app=forums&module=extras§ion=stats&do=leaders, choose a mod to contact and send them a private message. I'm rather sure it wont be stickied though, it's not a matter of whether or not it's good, it's the fact that stickied threads are for official things, not guides.

Not true.

Go to the artwork/fanfiction forum. Illusionary Nothing's rp guide is still there.

I bite occasionally. Just sayin.'

I will post the request in the admin forum for review. We don't sticky a lot of things though, as it seems to render the information invisible.

But that's an RP guide, for a RP forum. This is a character creation guide. Very different types of guides.

Leave an offering at their shrines, and they may grant you a visit.

Ah, but it was made by a normal member, and the guide contains a lot of personal things that I don't agree with.

This guide would probably be more technical, and probably more worthy of sticky status. Problem: What forum would it getting stickied in....

Anyway, mods have been contacted... question posted, so I will lock this thread for now.

In the future, for those who are not aware, any mod can be PM'd the same as any member.
