Bethesda GTA model of DLC

Post » Mon May 06, 2013 5:05 pm

I think with Skyrim, this is what bethesda was going for. They wanted to release a couple of episodic content that was fully featured, and then move on. And as with GTA, they could of continued to make DLC and they would of made alot of money, but have since moved on, as has now Bethesda. I am also discounting Heathfire in this, I don't think that qualifies as high quality DLC myself.

If they were to continue like this in the future, would you guys be happy?

Confused because it wouldn't make sense unless the episodes were like the game Redguard where they had already created heroes but it still wouldn't be all that great. The episodic dlcs work because in GTA you don't make the characters, for a game like TES it wouldn't make much sense and I'd rather not play an episodic game where I'd have to grind over and over like i did in the base game.

The first wrong thing you did was comparing them together. Completely different games and companies.

Completely different then GTA DLC op, can't see your point. Episodic DLC would be Tyranny of King Washington, which was is utterly different then Skyrim DLC.
