Best Provinces

Post » Tue May 07, 2013 10:52 am

Can people stop acting like the size on the map depicts how big it has to be in-game. If 2 whole provinces were the size and detail of Oblivion COMBINED, that is, each was half as well crafted and large and detailed, I would be so incredibly dissapointed it would be hard to believe.

Considering we don't know much of anything about Elsweyr, we have no idea what their architecture looks like or what it's made of. They could easily put something as unique as Morrowind's architecture in those landscapes.

A real desert would be quite nice, if done right. Throw in a tropical paradise and a forest region, and there's plenty to see and go around. And let's not act like the environment is the only thing that matters. You have a crazy Khajiit culture to go alongside it. Drug dealers, all sorts of weird Khajiit variants, bizarre politics.... you can do so much with it.

I too have only played Skyrim but I voted Black Marsh as my favorite because it's the argonians homeland and the argonians are my favorite race, but uh,i forget my least favorite vote, I think I said valen wood or no highrock, that's where the ("we're better then everyone else") snob elves live right? I should have picked morrowind, it's just I have no problem with the province it's just those dark elves that think argonians are better used as slaves instead of a free race that I don't like. also how'd you guys get a profile picture up there everytime I tried it said it failed loading it or something like that.

Summerset Isles / Alinor would be the High elves if you wanted to vote them as your least favorite
High rock is the Breton's province, and Valenwood are the Bosmer / Wood Elves.

I put Elsweyr as my Favorite, the Lore intrigues me, and home of my favorite race, which I would like to learn more about.

Least Favorite: Skyrim.
The place is nice, but there was always just a bland, emptiness feel to it. Cyrodiil was more welcoming to me in Oblivion, and in addition, I really prefer to travel around the un-snowy area's in Skyrim, which doesn't leave me much to travel around in preference

It was a cultural thing back then and as far as we know the Dunmer don't practice slavery anymore.

I'm surprised to see Hammerfell getting a lot of least favourite votes. It's my favourite, I like the political tension in Hammerfell, the pirate/middle eastern vibe. Redguard lore is pretty interesting as well, a little derivative at times, but not as bad as Skyrim in that regard.

Well, to be fair, the Argonians are a slave race of the Hist. Not that that makes it right. But in any case, slavery was being phased out of Morrowind in the game Morrowind, and only the richer older families kept slaves. Perhaps due to the lack of Empire strength slavery is coming back into Morrowind, but it is still a minority.

Favourite: Morrowind. Straight up, n'wah.

Least Favourite: Hammerfell, large tracts of sand don't appeal to me as much as swamps and volcanic wastes.

Largest: Ald'Cyrodiil, obviously! Just look at a map!

Largest ESO Tract: All 3, if ZeniMax is trying to keep things balanced.

Most populated faction: Ebonheart Pact, because 3 of the most popular races are there, and Skyrim made everybody hate the Aldmeri Dominion(despite Skyrim's Dominion being different from ESO's Dominion.)

Favorite: High Rock due to Bretons being my favorite race.
Least Favorite: Black Marsh because I'm not fond of swamps and non-Argonians and native species can't live there.
Largest: I would have to say Cyrodiil
I didn't care for the last 2 questions. Also, the Daggerfall Covenant includes Orsinium.
