DLC...which One?

Post » Wed May 08, 2013 6:40 am

I haven't played skyrim in a while. I want to return to the game and get one of the DLCs. If I can only get one, which should I get? Which one offers the best additional storylines and/or enhances the rest of the game the most?

I'd go with Dragonborn myself. Though if you play Vampires and Werewolves a lot I'd go with Dawnguard.

All three are worth it. If you by any chance play on PS3 do not get Dawnguard.

Dragonborn. A new landmass, an extension of the main quest, plenty of new dungeons and enemies, and more quess than you can poke a stick at!

Dragonborn. It has more new content than the others: large new landscape to explore, lots of Morrowind nostalgia and awesome amount of new creatures, items and gear. And its main story fits better with the vanilla Skyrims main story than Dawnguards does - and is also much more interesting and better written than the one in Dawnguard.

And honestly? the end rewards in Dragonborn are much cooler and useful than anything you get from Dawnguard.

Dragonborn. But I urge you to just buy legendary edition to get all three.

Ummm... I assume he already has Skyrim via saying "I haven't played Skyrim in a while". Why should he buy the Legendary version when it costs 60 bucks where instead he can just get all three DLC for $45 if he wanted...

Hearthfire is still my favorite of the DLCs. It gives some nice little additions and doesn't feel overpriced to me like Dawnguard and Dragonborn, both of which seemed to cost about twice as much as they were actually worth.

Get DB. Dawnguard isn't worth the money.

Oh come on, Dawnguard isn't that bad.

But I agree, if you have to get one, pick Dragonborn. Sort of gives a finale to the Dragonborn.
