Replacing Guards

I did set up a thread in the mod Section (but I realised that was the wrong one!)

Anyway, in Riverwood I want to replace the Whiterun Guards with "Riverwood Guards". I know how to create a new NPC but only the basics. How would I set the new NPC's to the Guard role? And if I CTRL + F on the Whiterun Guards, will this keep their interactions, or will I have to bind them to the Idle Slots again.

FINALLY...would I have to set up a new Faction for this? Or if not, what faction do they have to join for the game BEFORE the CW quest is started?

As you can tell, I am EXTREMELY new to the CK and any help is GREATLY appreciated :smile:

EDIT: Also, how do I add weapons to New NPC's? I can't figure it out :(
