I've been playing through an agonizing run of TESIII: Morrowind for quite a while now, I'm finally coming up on what I guess will be the end of the game and I wonder to myself.., "I've seen the Game of The Year Edition there in my local used game store for a while now, maybe I should go pick it up."
I know that generally, GOTY Editions tend to give you extra quests and new armor/weapons that were previously unattainable in the original version of the game. The only thing that is really gnawing at my mind is... is it worth it? Would going out and plunking down $30-$45 on a GOTY edition of Morrowind be worth it when I already have the original? Are the quests extensive like the DLC packs for Oblivion were? Will the armor/weapons be awesome? Or would they be disappointing like in Oblivions Knights of the Nine (my Dragonscale armor was stronger than the rewarded armor)?
So I turn to you, my fellow Morrowind enthusiasts to plant the question... Is the GOTY Edition of Morrowind really worth my hard earned dollars?
