Wolli's treehouse

Post » Thu Apr 08, 2010 8:49 am

My second released mod and i'm pretty pleased with it so I thought i'd post a release topic for it pics coming when uploded at pes

This mod adds a small house near seyda neen, you'll see it easyily as its can be seen from
the trade house. and if your starting a new game it's even easier as it's just west of the
guy who falls out the sky. =P
the house has many shelves and many crates for your stuff (all out of the way so that you
dont feel other crowded and costarphobic which i always find in most houses.)

some things i shoud point out.

it's all in exteriors so things like the morrowind code patch might be good to use with this as
i'm sure it stops rain going through statics.
bring mannaquins, more furniture, candels and lanterns, carriable storage things, etc.

this is my second realeased mod the first one i dont want to talk about.....
so be nice about it (it's not my first mod i've made citys, towns, landmasses, fixes,
quests, texture replacers, books.

C:bethesda softworks , morrowind, data files , and in here are meshes and textures.

erm. assuming you are not an english mothertongue i will gently point out that your readme is quite difficult to read. even more for people who are not mothertongues as well. but that's a minor.

The path you mention above you should shorten to .../morrowind/data files because otherwise it is just not right. I don't even have a c: drive for example. I hope this path is not given for your maybe new meshes and textures. but we will see once it's uploaded... :)

It's really hard to make people interested for your mod just by posting a long ReadMe (which is defently to long for a small mod like this).

No Screenies yet nor a working link :whistling:

Pes download is active by the way, just so you know

EDIT:

Ok, just tried it out, it is exactly what you say. And its quite nice too. Only a few little thing to mention.

There are a few clipping objects inside the shack. And its a bit repetative. But the downloader could change that to suit there needs in a matter of minutes.
The only problem with the tree, is that its impossible to just walk up into the tree. Some weird collision on the tree itself stops you from being able to simply walk up the path. I had to move quite a way back and jump to the side of the tree.

but other than that. I like it alot. :goodjob:

thanks for the screenshots, they look great! I'm looking forward to trying it out in game. You did a nice job on the interior, its slightly cramped, but a treehouse should be!

just had to upload a new patch as the other one didn't work:

in the first pathch a remade the planks so that they would be in another area but it turned out that the first esp's ladders where still there as well as the new one's about the patch. so i made a new one it doesn't delete the old one as that would mean i'd have to re-release it and i only plan on doing that when i want to add other thing's so if you cant get up just downlaod this! ; )

I'm sure that it is :D

Unfortunally I don't like house mods in general!

I only used 1 housemod since 8 years playing morrowind and the last time was 5-6 years ago...I'm not the guy who likes to decorate a house in game and I prefer a backpack for storage.

But I mean what I say, it looks interesting, even if I have no use for a house mod! :goodjob:
