EA expectations? and Who's fault is that? Origin laincher? WTF? noone cares about the game, since Crysis 3 was relased with the EULA rule, no modder, no real Crysis fan could, would, will ever accept! So yea, congratulaton both for EA and Crytek screw over their fans! Low sales? They'e lucky they were able sell this much with the crap they dare call a sellable product!

I think it was just bad timing. Lets face it, this series never had a very big following. It needed to pull players from other popular fps games. And guess what, those other more popular titles released big DLC around the same time as C3's launch.

C3 couldn't have had a better launch period, aside from maybe the early summer.

People just weren't interested in the game after being burnt by C2, the game was seen as "Crysis 2.5" and not a sequel to C1. It got exactly the sales numbers it deserved, nothing more and nothing less.

Again, you guys from C2 are thinking the whole world played your game. This series needed more players. Bringing every last one of you guys over wouldn't have helped. Therefore, making C3 into the C2 players' wet dream wouldn't have helped. They needed to scraqe off some CoD/BF3/Uncharted/Halo players, but they didn't get it done. It's too bad. Tbis is an awesome game, but the lure of DLC kept the other shooter fans on those games.

EA destroyed Crysis like most of their franchises so we can forget Crysis now. Crysis 2,3 were just a flash in the pan, quick sequels for quick sales just like CoD and now the Battlefield series is going.

Crysis 3 is a total failure and there is nothing they can do about it because of the stunt they pulled with Crysis 2, and it's all of their own making.

I just feel sad for all those guys who put a lot of hard work into the game. Too bad it didn't work out as planned.
But I'm glad because of EA not getting as much money as they expected. BURN!
