The Year is 4E:206. Five years after the death of Emperor Titus Mede II. And three years since the defeat of Ulfric Stormcloak and his rebellion. The Empire is now divided and weaker. With the death of Titus Mede II, the Elder Council was engaged in bitter debate over who will be the new Emperor. One side supported The older son, sixtus Mede , and the other side supported the younger son, Attrebutes II. The older son wishes to continue to uphold the White-Gold Concordat. As the Empire is too weak to continue war with the Aldmeri Dominion and needs to rebuild, especially after the damage Ulfric Stormcloak has caused. Yet the the younger son wishes to nullify the Concordat, and purge the Empire of Thalmor influence. As he believes the Empire is running out of time and must act now.

After these five long years of debate, which did nothing but made the Empire politically weaker, the Elder Council barely agreed to put sixtus Mede on the Ruby Throne. Attrebutes II, believing that his brother's policies will kill the Empire, had no choice but to act. And so Attrebutes II fled North to Skyrim. If Civil War must save the Empire, then so be it.

Now it is the summer of 4E:206. The drums of war has began to beat. Attrebutes Mede II has massed as much legionaires and soldiers of Skyrim as he can to Falkreath. Attrebutes has given orders to his commander, General Maxius, to march his men to Pale Pass, one of the few major entry ways between Cyrodiil and Skyrim, and capture Fort Reman, the fortress that blocks the road to Cyrodill. Once the task is done, Attrebutes' legions can march to the Imperial City, and fight their way to his brother. And so General Maxius set of to Fort Reman with 5,000 Imperial Legionaires of the 15th Legion. And the 300 soldiers of Falkreath Hold.

Meanwhile in Cyrodiil, there are rumors that Attrebutes II is betraying the Empire. Despite the concerns of some Elder Councilmen concerning this, Emperor sixtus Mede dismissed these rumors, as he doubt his brother would betray him despite their differences in politics. And so that puts For Reman in a disadvantage, as it only has a garrison of two Cohorts, 500 men each. And a mere four hundred militia from Bruma County.

However, this will not be a easy battle for Attrebutes, as Fort Reman is perhaps one of the strongest fortress in Cyrodiil. Mainly thanks to rennovations during the Stormcloak Insurection. And so the Battle of Pale Pass will be a bloody start of a bloody war between a shattered Ruby Diamond...

The "Battle of Pale Pass" is chapter one of the series "War of the Shattered Diamond." In this chapter, you will play either side of a suprised siege on Fort Reman, the Imperial Legion outpost in Pale Pass, one of the few major entery ways between Skyrim and Cyrodiil. In this chapter, and the next ones, the outcome will effect the path this series will go. So anything could happen when it's over. You can play multiple characters if you choose so and can be whatever class. From an officer to a grunt, or from a scout to a soldier.

(Will finish writing rules and Character sheets. Any opinions on this so far?)

If this is still open for business, then I would like to extend a Khajiiti character.

This RP didn't get much attention. Though hopefully you posting might somehow help.

Also, there's two things.

1: sixtus does not support the Thalmor or the Aldmeri Dominion in general. He just doesn't think the Empire is ready for round two. So you can have your character remain a spy, but edit sixtus knowing out of it.

2: Can you put a background in. I could of sworn that I added "background" in the CS sample. I'll edit that in.

And after that, just wait and see if people actually posts a CS.

No, he isn't there as a spy, he is there as a "representative." Sort of like Ancano for the college of Winterhold. But I'll change it anyway. I thought that you should have had background, but since it want there I decided to stick with the books.
