Textures and BSAs - Case sensitivity?

Post » Mon May 13, 2013 1:01 am

I am trying to pack a bunch of textures into a BSA along with some scripts. In Archive.exe I am selecting the "Textures" and "Misc" checkboxes along with the three flags for compression, retain directory names and retain file names.

I have all my resources added to the folder file lists with the correct folder structure.

So how is it that all of my textures work just fine when I am running them as loose files, yet they are not found inside the .bsa? I have noticed that my scripts that are contained inside the same .bsa are working just fine. Is there some weirdness with .bsa textures that I'm not aware of? Or is it simply that the case is incorrect (I noticed that Archive.exe is converting file and directory names to lower case as part of the archive process)?

Any help would be appreciated.
