Wouldn't you like to see something like this in the game?

I always found the roads in Oblivion boring. Like there almost never was activity along the roads.

What I would like to see if that there are stalls placed on the roads in the woods or near a village.

So you can buy and sell stuff with that person who owns that stall on the roads.

But the stalls also can be robbed by thieves or be attacked by monsters. But if you can kill the thieves/monsters and bring back the stall owner his stuff back you will get a reward.

The reward could be something like Gold and a free bed in the village. And the village people will call you a hero! :D

Want to see more people walking along the streets with random events, to example some tradesmen who are walking from one city to another with their wagons and goods and suddenly they get attacked by a horde of bandits.
If you will help him you may get a reward or he will tell everyone about what you'd done for him -> traders will grant you better prices and bandits will try to kill you
If you let him die the shop which should have got those goods will not have them then, or you have to pay more for the remaining things they have in this city

There should be some taverns near the roads and maybe some bandit camps.
There could also be some small guard stations

Er..."Hi, welcome to Gaston's Middle of Nowhere clothing store! That's right, we're in the middle of nowhere! Who doesn't need a nice suit in the middle of nowhere, eh?"

Not seeing the appeal...

Yeah. See, this is why there typically aren't stalls and shops along roads in forests in the middle of nowhere, because there aren't city guards in the middle of nowhere. Not even in High Fantasy settings- that's why they call them "city" guards.

They generally aren't even set up "near" villages- because the city guards aren't near the village, they're in the village. This is why "marketplaces" are generally also in the village.

What would you like to see on the roads in the woods/near a village?

Bandits, other travelers, religious pilgrims, perhaps merchants packed up in wagons moving to another town to set up their stall in a marketplace guarded by city guards, more other travelers, the odd pickpocket maybe...but no random vendor stalls outside of maybe a beggar alongside the road near the city gate- set up there because the guards ran them out of town.

Random events sounds appealing but in a game like this it can create lots of bugs. I am more for people have multiple tasks.

I wouldn't mind certain random events, but this village trader stall thing doesn't sound all that great.

But what about those tiny shops here and there in the wasteland in Fallout 3?

That's what I kinda mean.

Yes thats true about out in the middle of nowhere stalls dont make much sense, but would like them to put markets in the right places, stores I can understand in certain sections of town, but in medieval times many stalls and shops were represented outside of city walls around the gates and very few cities had walls around the whole of the cities themselves.

I love this idea! One thing they would nee to do is make sure it's not entirely random. What I mean is, all traveling vendors should have predetermine routes throughout Skyrim. These routes would be traversed according to supply and demand between the various cities, and their wares would reflect that. If you are not with a specific distance of one of these traders there should be a random chance that they would get robbed/attacked and that would effect their prices and supply. If you are within the proper distance, that same random chance should occur and perhaps cause a nearby NPC to come running to you asking for help, in which case you could intercede.
