HELP! Skyrim isn't doing something right....

Post » Tue May 14, 2013 9:17 am

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Skyrim many different ways. Uninstalled, turned off internet, reinstalled, ran, saved, turned on internet, patched, etc. as well as uninstalled reinstalled, blah blah blah. The dang game won't let me save more than one file and if I try to make a new char for a different play style it deletes my other save files. or rather they just completely disappear. What am I doing wrong? I want to play this game still but if I can't branch out like I am famous for doing then this game is as good as trashed.

I am playing on Ps3. I have downloaded the DLC. and everything was fine up to about 3 patches ago. since those patched my game glitches, freezes, and overall just plain svcks.

PLEASE HELP AN ELDER SCROLLS NUT!!!!!!

auto save will overwrite but not a hardsave. when u make a new character make a new save file for it....so each playable character has its own save file(s)

This is why you turn auto-save off and only use hard saves. It's not a glitch... :D

When you make a hard save you have make it in a new slot. :tops:

What could be a glitch is that you can override the auto and quick save slot.

You also can't have more then one auto or quick save at a time.

This had some people fooled you could only make one character per account.

Just don't rely on auto and quick saves. You should be manually saving. :tops:

They need to update Elder Scrolls to character slots next time. (But don't rely on that...)

I remember these types of things popping when Oblivion first came out too.
