If you've been presented with a Quest which you have essentially asked for, is it acceptable to assume that leaving the conversation is agreeing to the Quest. In clearer terms, consider the following instance (the first Quest of my mod):
1) The Player requests work or to help an NPC (RPing difference; nothing to do with the Quest itself)
2) The NPC asks the Player to gather 4 Pearls (or 7 Small Pearls)
3) The Player is presented with the option to decline the Quest and instead ask for something more demanding. The Player is then given an alternative Quest.
In this scenario, there is no option to reaffirm that you are agreeing to gathering the pearls, but is leaving the conversation (tabbing out, if you will) taken as this? I realise the vanilla game does this, but I don't want players to feel pressured into taking the alternative Quest because it is the only selectable option. At the same time, however, having an option to reaffirm that you're accepting the task feels redundant and cluttersome. What does the community feel is the best thing to do here? As its a simple matter of one or the other, all I need is some participation in the poll, but if you have any feedback then that's certainly welcome.
