Whats Brynjolf's accent

Post » Sat May 18, 2013 9:47 am

Some food for thought, "As a Voice Over artist, Robin is one of the most prolific voice actors in Los Angeles and is proficient in over 60 dialects. He has acted in 100's of the top interactive titles in the industry, as well as work on commercials and animated shows." ...from IMDB :tes: (bolded text by me)

Irish to my untrained ears, maybe liverpuddlian or whatever John Lennon's accent is.

There is no such thing as a 'British' accent. That like saying there's such a thing as an 'Asian' accent. One accent for a collection of different Countries. It's wrong.

Regardless of where the voice actor was born that is without any doubt a Scottish accent. As in Scotland. A softly spoken one, granted. But Scottish nonetheless.

Each country has their own accent, then different smaller accents within that general one. Like people in the southern US sound completely different than people in the north. Just like people from London sound different than people from Birmingham and the such.

But to me he sounds Scottish.

My guess would be a High Rock accent, probably from the Jehanna/Farrun region.

He's probably from there before moving to Riften.

That's my opinion anyway.

It's Scottish for sure, it's just a very weak one.

Exactly. My complaint is that Britain is not stricly speaking a Country, but a collection of Contries. Each of which has their own accent, and language too for that matter.

For the most part I think people mean England when they say Britain, and refer to Wales, Ireland or Scotland separately.

Good lord, he isn't a Scouser...

Ha! No. The English accents are so diverse, some people sound drastically different. North-Eastern accent, Cockney accent and a Yorkshire accent are some examples.

Are you English? Or ever been to more than one part of England?
