Yes people want more,But sadly bethesda has moved on,They are not making anymore.
Stated about a billion times, no more DLC.
Two storyline DLC are standard for TES games: Morrowind had Bloodmoon and Tribunal, Oblivion had Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles.
Who needs more DLC with such a vast and often high skilled modding community?
Console players
But ya, sorry OP. BGS is http://www.bethblog.com/2013/04/15/moving-to-our-next-adventure/ from Skyrim. We may see small updates but chances are they are just gonna be minor fixes if needed than new content.
Ahh yes, didn't think of that.
I moved from console to PC back when morrowind/Oblivion were starting to get a rich modding community,
Fallout 4 will probably come before another Eldar Scrolls game, that said, the mmo is in the works though I'm unsure if it's going to be a pc only job. Wouldn't have thoguht so as most of the more recent games have been on console.
Tis the reason why I said Dragonborn was going to be the last DLC.
But yes, Bethesda is officially done with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. However, this summer is the release of Skyrim Legendary Edition so you could get that for the sake of just playing the game again if your a fan.
But Bethesda is not making TESO, so I doubt that will have any affect on BGS's next project.
Yes, but when they said they were using fallout as a model, one would expect at least 3. Considering Skyrim blow all previous TES games out of the water, it would make sense to have at least 3 or 4 DLCs. But no.
On that note I'd like to remind that TESO is being developed by Zenimax Online, a completely different studio. Bethesda Game Studios is very very likely working on Fallout 4. Announcement of no more DLC for Skyrim thus has nothing to do with TESO.
Just to clarify in case someone doesn't know.
The next singleplayer TES won't be out anytime soon.
There is something called a search bar that people seem to magically forget about.
I personally liked the gameplay better in Morrowind, the story in Oblivion, the only part about Skyrim that I liked better than both was the breathtaking scenery. Oh, don't get me wrong, the story and gameplay in Skyrim was superb too.
How would it make sense? If you think of it from a business standpoint, you're not making any sense
Because 42.
Todd explicitly stated that Fallout 3 model was very aggressive and Skyrim would have fewer, but more substantial DLC. There was never a chance for 4 DLC. 3 would have made sense, given that Skyrim is by far their most popular game, but 2 definitely aren't surprising.
Indeed! Todd Howard stated in one of those interview videos that their would be more dlc for skyrim then any of their elder scrolls game, given up and moving on is like saying the games not making us money, so lets move on!
