Remember those days......

Post » Mon May 20, 2013 12:36 pm

With the upcoming release of the Legendary Edition of Skyrim I have found myself having fond memories of these boards back in their prime before and after Skyrim's release. All the arguments and fights which took place still make me laugh when I think about them.

*All those Destruction magic threads

*Those "Skyrim is shallow" topics

*The craziness of the Civil War threads pre-release where people picked sides before the game even came out for the most idiotic reasons imaginable(not much has changed)

*The "Which is your favourite race" threads which would pop up 9362723932639333 times a day

*The marriage threads where people wondered how deep it would be(I told you it would svck :P)

*The "Can we kill children" discussions(good times)

*Then ofcourse, the Dawnguard Beta meltdown when some of the rejected brokedown because of not getting picked.

This is just a small smaple of the great topics we have experienced and with the ever decreasing numbers of visitors, I would like to thank you for the memories.

I'm pretty new here but it seems like much hasn't changed.

Actually I brought my Altmer guy (from 2011) out of hibernation to play the DLC.

Back then the game was so new, I didn't even know the Altmer were the bad guys yet!

So I had created an Altmer in honour of my Champion of Cyrodiil, heheh...

Crazy, right?

Hey, remember back during Dawnguard? All of those angry PS3 threads? Those gave me a good laugh for some time considering some of the reactions to it.

June 2012:

"Bethesda I am forevering never playing your games ever again! Good day to you!"

February 2013:

"Oh my goodness! Bethesda I love you so much! You've finally listened and gave all of the DLC! Hurray! Bethesda is the greatest thing ever!"

Fickle nature is ever present...

As a business, Bethesda will exploit it.

Are you on the PS3? I am, and I won't forget. 8 months was way too damn long.

I had 5 kids born in that time.
