Lakeview Manor-Dragon

Each time I appear at the Lakeview Manor a dead dragon, with skin and sometimes bones, appears and lays in front of the house's entry. It is a waste of time moving it as each time I travel and return to the house it appears again.

Anyone else have the same issue?

Thank you

You can find out where the data for the dragon is being stored, if you can load up an earlier savegame and go to the manor and the dragon is not there then it's most likely in your latest savegame data. Not sure if this will work but you can try going to the manor, save the game in a new manual slot. Wait for 34 in game days and see if the cleanup routines remove the corpse, if they do save the game again. Exit and restart the console, load up the game and your new save and it should be ok.

If the body is still there after you load an earlier savegame then the data is probably held in gamedata so to try and correct this:-

Delete Skyrim gamedata and Skyrin patch data then follow reinstallation instructions that are on the forums in several places, load up your current save and see if the body has gone.

HTH and good luck.

Yes it happens to my too every time i got to Riverwood. So it fixes for itself after a dozen hours of playing.

You can do the wait think for 30 days perhaps, but not sure if that work's, you can revert to a previous save where the glitch has not happened yet.

Or you can cast any sort of "raise dead" spell on it to push it away a good distance.

Do that a few times until it's in the middle of nowhere and eventually you'll just forget about it. :D

But again, sorted out for me after many hours of playing... :tops:

Seeing your answer, Mark41, makes me realize how much of a time sink Skyrim is. Not only that, we have to deal with all of the remaining bugs like this one. Arggghhh!! No point is getting upset. Nobody is going to do anything for the console versions of this game now. It truly is a shame. Skyrim showed so much potential.

Here's a suggestion for Zenimax:

--------------------------------------------

Send every single one of your employees on a field trip to a company like Rockstar Games or Ubisoft and see how they make games. Either that or hire people away from companies that continually put out successful games and force the dinosaur crew to move on. The same people making the same games with the same design philosophies isn't working.

I agree with that 100%, it's a shame indeed...
