I was wondering, which language do legionaries usually speak? We know they use a lot of Latin, yet no legionary has any trouble addressing the PC in English. Is the Latin just a gimmick? If so, why would Caesar even bother teaching them Latin? The entire Legion is oblivious to the history of the historic Roman Empire, he might just as well have kept English as the primary language. It's his native tongue after all. Or is the fact they speak English in-game just a way to allow them to communicate with the PC, while speaking Latin in lore? I'd say English is their primary language, seeing as how Ulysses is able to communicate with the Think Tank (although English might have been the primary language in the Twisted Hairs), and Silas has no trouble talking to Lt. Boyd. Seems odd they'd be able to if their primary language were Latin.
