people talking

i have 2 (unrelated) problems with talking npc's:

1) when you pass through a load door while an npc tells you he'd "been an adventurer just like you" or the likes, they will follow you through the door to complete their line -

is there some way to reliably make them NOT?

(i'd still like them to start their lines though, just not follow me)

2) i have a little pantomime scene, where one ghost walks up to another, plays a paired hug-ani and then they both exit stage left.

this is meant to happen in SILENCE.

one of the ghosts though ALWAYS drops a more or less random line (i think "hello"s, but not entirely sure) when the hug-ani starts (the other one remains silent as he should) -

they both have all dialogue-suspicios flags unticked in their packages, their voice types are both set to none, and there's nothing like any dialogue or anything far and wide.

so WHAT do i have to do to $&$/(* shut 'er up for good...?? or could it possibly be the ani itself somehow making her drop a line? (hard to imagine for a hug (paired_hugA) though)
