Yes I could.
It's called no side quests, no guilds, just 100% focus on the main quest.

I know what you mean OP. After finding all of the words of power I could with my last character, the main quest and Dragonborn I had to retire her because there was nothing else left to do. I tried starting Dawnguard but It didn't feel right. Only quests left were the Thane quests and all of the guild quests but after Aldy and Mirri I don't feel like I need to prove myself by killing an Ice Wraith or being called a whelp, be a petty thug or bully, kill hoboes or going against Ancano (really? I should be given an option to shout him off the CoW bridge and then: "Side Quest completed: College of Winterhold" What a joke!)
Didn't the Bethesda speed run of the main quest clock in at less than two hours? It's definitely doable to complete it and Dragonborn's main quest in under 50 hours, I agree.
Nonsense! I just talked to Abraham over Skype-rim and he said he was interested in joining the Companions!
So, what's Abe's plan then? Become a tavern lizard? Farmer? Commit sepuku? Chase women?
Keep on playing, role-play that he became a huntsman, join the companions, Join the dawn-guard, raise a family!
