whats your opinion on auto armor?

imo crytek did great job with the auto armor module.
i.e. i like how it works, and i dont see any problem with lvl50s using it.

i think aa only becomes unfair when exp player use aa against newbie without the aa.
but thats mainly newbie's fault for not using the aa and easy solution = all newbies should use aa.
i.e. aa module have to be the first module until you reach lvl50, or give stronger warning when changing aa to another module. (or maybe aa could be just standard feature of the nanosuit rather than being optional module)

i hardly used armor mode in c2 mp, and never really used armor mode manually in c3 mp until i played at iam server recently(cos no aa for lvl50 rule) and tbh i cant be bothered to learn to use the armor mode manually :)

There have been over 9000 topics about this. They all went the same way pro aa vs anti aa flaming away with all they got. Crytek saying they don't plan to change it.... Topic either dying or being locked

For me AA was always a just a headache. After every reboot I kept it for a while but I either screwed it up by trying to engage the armor while I did actually disabled it.Most of the time I did die before it even engaged had to listen for the stupid suit to let me know that armor engaged well after.
I think AA gets unfair when being used by laggers as they become invincible

I believe it's just cheap and ruining the already dwindling community of player's, people shouldn't be relying on it and abusing it. People are killing other's at time's, just because they take more bullet's to kill if there using auto armor. It get's annoying at times because crysis shouldnt be like this imo. Crytek shoulda made this a 25 rank module cap.

It's crazy when people use a defensive Armor module as an offensive attack to destroy newer players. Get rid of it, no Crysis fans ever wanted anything of the suit to be automatic. At the very least cap it at level 50. Crytek can say they aren't going to change it but that just shows that they are reluctant to listen to their audience. Level cap this awful awful idea, and let us never hear the word "auto" or "automatic" again when talking about nanosuit powers.

Honestly if OP can't be bothered learned how to use Armor mode then seriously just stop playing, the game is meant to have a learning curve. If you have problems learning to press one button then maybe video games shouldn't be a past time of yours.

We all know the countless Auto Armor threads, they keep popping up because people are **** sick of this module and it honestly would make the game way way better without it. Crytek needs to stop being so stubborn and level cap it at 50. Unless they are pleased with having less than 5,000 people across all platforms play this game a day.

I warned them months ago, when the Alpha was out about this Auto Armor BS, and they listened, thats why they made it so there is no upgrades for it. But it's not enough. I didn't even have to see how Auto Armor functioned to know it was going to be a problem. Look at all the losers who used Auto Armor all the way through their reboots and were too afraid to take it off. The game is horrendously unbalanced and having wacky modules such as Auto Armor makes it even worse.

I guarantee you, changing Auto Armor, putting a level cap on it will increase player population. Not a whole lot, but a little. No one is going to quit this game if they don't have their little Auto Armor module anymore, they will all adapt and learn to activate it manually. After which they will be thanking me and others for liberating them from such a worthless OP perk and they will realize that having Auto Armor actually takes a lot of the fun out of the game.

Eh, Crytek said they aren't going to touch AA. So if they went back on their word they would look stupid, but if they kept it the way it is they still look stupid.

Mmmm, keep backing yourself into those corners Crytek <3

What I don't get is why MAneuvrability isn't the standard run speed,

I always hate it when games add these "essential" perks, I t defies the point of having perks in the first place if you have to lock yourself down to a select few.

Solution: Buff non-AA armor mode :X Reduce its activation time to 0 at least or even the amount of armor you get.

AA advantages:
0 activation time
Can prevent being instant killed whilst in stealth
Psychic protection
Armor mode without speed penalty

Regular armor mode advantages:
hmm you get to feel like there are three suit modes instead of two

Originally I thought AA blocked less dmg than regular armor mode. :/
