Ok so i am now level 15 and i was doing a couple missions and stumbled to black moutain. I killed everything from the sledgehammar guys, minigun, heavy incinerator guys etc. I made it past the radio station and got sh*t on by a rocket launcher guy lol. Of course my last save was all the way back when i first got to it but i could never get back past the radio station again because every time i killed the guy with the sledgehammar i got destroyed by a random death claw... Any tips for how to get past this? Here is so info on stuff i have

Cass- Their my buddy atm and she has been soo good taking down people with little to no damage and her health regens although i could switch to boone if i need to

Weapons:

Anti-Material Rifle

Assault Carbine

.22 silent smg

hunting rifle

Mercenary Grenade launcher

Thats it atm although one problem is that my strength is 7 (i bought an upgrade to my strength at the med clinic) but i thought you could add 2 strength at the med clinic but you can't i know there is a perk to upgrade your strength but is there any other way i can get my strength up to use me anti-material rifle or do i have to wait for the perk? And what level do you get the perk? Thanks to all that answer

I like cass but personally I like boon more in combat or arcade,lilly,raul etc.

As for Armor I'd say higher DT never been a fan of light armors

Again I'm pretty sure you can buy implants for your strenght.
