I purchased a copy of Skyrim for my son who is out of work for a while due to medical problems. He had recently purchased an all-in-one machine from Dell and is using a wireless keyboard and mouse. He has more than adequate resources for the game. He is running Windows 8 which I have never used.

The problem is that you barely touch the mouse and it jumps across the screen. This makes it difficult , if not impossible, to point and click or select items from menus. I feel badly as this is about all he can do while he is laid up and I don't have a clue as to the cause. My copy plays fine, so I never had to figure anything out before.

If anyone has a suggestion, I'd be grateful...
