I have been playing this game a while now and just recently decided to reinstall it on my new computer.

It began to freeze quite often for me (I had to use task manager to close it- that whole deal), somewhere between 10mins-3hours.

I have used the supposed .ini file fix, where you change the core usage to 2. It seemed to be working, except that when I died, the game started to autoload my save, and that's when the freeze happened again.

I was curious and went to check on the .ini file to see if my text modifications were still there, but they werent.

Is the game deleting my file modifications somehow? I really need help please.
