Hey, bought Skyrim on day one and played it and loved it. Both on PS3 and PC. Came back now for another playthrough with mods.
I'll keep this short. Skyrim doesn't work with Crossfire. (Having 2 graphics cards instead of just one for dramatically increased gaming performance). I'll say it again: Skyrim doesn't work with Crossfire! Aaaaaaaaaaaaagh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bethesda, how do you think you're supposed to get away with this? Did it never occur to you that when testing the game, you would make sure that not just Nvidia users can actually PLAY THE GAME! For the record, I bought my second 7970 (costs around 500€) almost solely for the purpose of playing Skyrim at the absolute max-setting like never seen before in even screenshots. I also threw in a week of almost non-stop effort with mods, averaging about 7 hours a day! Like a full-time job! And now when I play Skyrim it works normally but with sub-par FPS. It's not a JOKE! Because I'm FORCED to do so, because when I turn on Crossfire, I get ridiculous graphical bugs. Now I'm not sure what's going on in Bethesda's HQ, but this calamity absolutely needs to be You can't release a game when half of the people who run two or more graphics cards CAN'T PLAY!
The worst part is; you haven't even documented or informed the public of this MESS! I bought a second 7970 for Skyrim because how could I have known it doesn't work with it?! How am I supposed to know?! I expected it would work like it works on all other games. If this is an issue in Skyrim, let us know!! AAAAAAGH! So fix this Crossfire -issue or refund my second graphics card (which runs fine on all other games) AND both my copies of Skyrim (PC and PS3), oh! And also your pricy DLC's which I haven't even got to play yet.
That's all. But I expect explanations & action or you can be sure you'll lose a pretty darn good customer FOR GOOD. All this time and all this money only to be completely screwed by a bug Bethesda has been too lazy to fix.
And finally. GG BETHESDA.
