Anyone want to take a guess as to what this game mode is? I will.

In this mode, one player must hold on to a flag for as long as possible, while his teammates defend him and the flag. Teams are awarded points for killing the enemy. However, the team holding the flag receives double points towards the match score.

In order to hold the flag, the player must kill the enemy player currently holding the flag, then take the flag off their body. The player that is holding the flag will get assist points. The team to reach the score limit, or have the highest score when time runs out wins.

It's a lot like Team Defender from Modern Warfare 3.



As for the other leaked game mode "Frenzy" I haven't the slightest clue. But if I had to guess, I would say it's like a gun game, or a cycling gun game.

What you described is pretty much how the Deathmach flag system in Tribes Ascent works, and it's the first thing that came to my mind as well.

I also thought it could just pretty much "a continuous stream of points over time" towards the team that has the flag. I like the first option better, though.

I was thinking in more gentlemanly terms, and not monopolistic, mauger their apparent similarities. I do appreciate the compliment however, ol' chap!

Oddball could be very interesting in Crysis 3.

How cool would that be if there was a pile of guns and you have to race and try to get them first.. and u spawn with just a handgun. Everyman for himself (like deathmatch). One clip per gun.. nice.

It's all the rage in Poltergeist TV too.
