What is your favorite non-armor clothing combo?

Post » Sat Apr 10, 2010 4:50 pm

I am currently playing a character that doesn't wear any armor except a shield and sometimes a helmet.

I am wearing the Dark Shirt (0 weight), Light Brown Linens (1 lb.), Gold Trimmed Shoes (2 lbs.).

What is your favorite outfit?

I really like the look of the Russet Felt Outfit, but don't like the fact that outfits remove a spot for an enchantment.

Let me know what your fashonista is rockin'!

Dark shirt, black wide pants, black hood, wrist irons. Weightless FTW. Too bad there aren't any weightless shoes. I usually put on gold trimmed shoes with that set, or pigskin.

Edit: Well, there's one pair of weightless shoes. Boots of Springheel Jak are actually shoes, and don't weigh anything due to the quest flag.

Hmm, vanilla non-armor outfits? I think many of them look pretty good:

Black wide pants are somewhat rare, but there are a couple pairs that are easy to get. One pair is in the Bruma Fighters Guild basemant, and another is found on the "boss" of Vilverin (the Ayleid ruin across the water from the sewer exit).

Wiki http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Black_Wide_Pants#Black_Wide_Pants to all normal locations.

My male characters tend to gravitate towards:

Mage's Hood
Dark Shirt
Blacksmith Pants
Stitched Leather Shoes
Wrist Irons

My current female character is wearing

Dark Green Hood
Heinrich's Best Shirt
Heinrich's Best Pants (Same skin as the Blacksmith Pants, the Black Wide Pants are too highwatery for me.
Doeskin Shoes
Wrist Irons

Needless to say, all items are enchanted.

Thank you. The red dress is the vanilla 'red velvet outfit'. Although the green shoes in 4 are BAB green silk slippers, they are almost indentical to vanilla 'green velvet shoes'. :)

Helena's favourite outfit is the Blue Velvet dress with matching shoes. So far, anyway. She's not really experimented much. In fact, she usually prefers the more humble approach of a simple shirt combined with a skirt. She bought the Blue Velvet dress and shoes just before she joined the Mages Guild. A girl's got to make a good impression, hasn't she?

My pure mage wore a lower-class skirt and shirt on dungeon diving. Did not want to get goblin [censored] on a fancy dress and saw no reason to dress up for bandits.
In town I used this dress to http://i668.photobucket.com/albums/vv43/Acadian6/ScreenShot466.jpg
simple and elegant. Would not be caught dead on one of the bath robes the other mages are using, also used gloves and a copper headband from mods.
Everything is enchanted with fortify magic except the lower class shirt who has fire shield.
The town dress is enchanted with luck.

Nothing in particular, but I like playing with Nobleman clothes, like those expensive one :P
Don't ask why, dark clothes are not really what I like, even though I'm stealthy, I like to think of myself as a spy, having to act as a different person although he is an assassin really :P

My favorite is the Robe of Glib Tongues,Shoes with a waterwalking enchantment, and The Circlet of Omnipotence. I never got into wearing the wrist irons and I can not remember if I could use two rings at once in Vanilla?
I use the best amulet I have available in my characters inventory, but I like using Sigil Stones for enchanting the amulets I find as loot to buff either Magicka or Health. I still play this way for a Mage or Thief, but I will equip three or more rings, especially if the ring is a quest reward.

Blue Suede Shoes, Blue Velvet Outfit and (with Shivering Isles) Heretic's Hood.
And if not that, Coarse Linens, Coarse Linen Shirt, Green Robe Hood and Oiled Linen Shoes.
