The write up for the Elemental Fury shout says that it does not work on enchanted weapons. However, when I wield an enchanted weapon and use this shout my character definitely hits faster. What's up with that? Is it possible he's hitting faster but not really doing more damage?

Didn't it work if you used an enchanted weapon in your left hand, regular in the right?

If it gives the error that the weapon is already enchanted when you attempt to use it, you're getting a placebo effect.

I don't see why it shouldn't work. The shout applies to you and how fast you swing a weapon, not to the weapon in itself. Silly restriction, in my opinion.

It doesn't apply just to you, actually. It attempts to enchant the weapon with a temporary purely visual effect (the wispy bits floating around it).

It's hardcoded too. No scripts involved.

It's the opposite actually. Right hand can be enchanted, left hand has to be mundane.

And I was gonna say this. You got it before me.

Not really. I remember noticing this in the CK. Removing the fake enchantment wouldn't make any problem. If it was really hardcoded, removing it wouldn't be possible. Well, it's hardcoded for people playing on consoles, of course.
