It's the best game mode.

I like extraction. I've only been able to play it two times. I'm sure CTF is fun too (now that the stupid capture/pick up bug is fixed). I wish I could play them more, but no one is patient enpugh to wait for a lobby to fill. If you and a few friends sit in a lobby and wait (for a long time) people will show up. Problem is, they jump back out after a minute. No patience.

The best I've ever seen this mode was back near release. You might have seen 30 people in 3 games.

I'm a friend of Minchmeat80 and every time I play with him and wait in a Medley lobby we always start a good Medley match which fills up to 12 players by the 2nd match. This guy is the king of starting Medley matches. We always go for the least played mode. Though we haven't played in a few days,because we were playing extraction at Hell's Kitchen and he was owning 33-5 with 50,000 XP, I was going to get MVP with like about 3000 and we would have won 7-0 if some cowardly fool (That was the host) on the other team hadn't left and caused a host migration that kicked our whole squad out with 2 mins to go. I was in the middle of a kill when the migration began. That guy has a place reserved in hell.

The reason nobody plays Ex/CTR is because most of them are fools that are afraid to try something new. Personally I really want to play one of the maximum modes and I wish the developer's choice is updated and refreshed more regularly.

I've seen you on a few times when I'm on. But its few and far between. You need to become an insomniac like crazycrywarrior

Yeah. I'm an advlt with 2 kids and 2 jobs. So I can only squeeze in time at night typically. Being in different countries is probably the biggest obstacle. Oh well, I'll keep my eye out for you. We'll get some Medley or CTF/EXT going one day

I know why no one plays these modes. Because some 'try hards' just start spawn killing and don't play the objectives. Crytek have made it too easy for this to happen in these game modes. I've said it before and I'll say it again, does you k/d matter that much!?
The objective modes in c3 are superb when everyone is playing for the objective, but if one or two people start farming kills, it just kills the flow of the game and frustrates people. So annoying!
But, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised by the selfishness and idiocy of these people, as with everything in life, it only takes a few to ruin it for everyone...

I just got to play a couple of sessions and there were 3 games of CTF/EXT going. I jumped in and it was fun. I saw a few guys sitting at the capture points the whole game, but apparently it didn't work out but so well. They ended up negative in the KDR department.

CTF is fun, but EXT is better imo. Hopefully people are still playing this when I get on later.
