Servers Dissallowing Squads : Crysis

So in C2 and C3 you can set your server to disallow squads. In C2, these types of servers were far and few between (and honestly for a few server owners, I'm not sure why they just didn't set it). But in C3, however, almost every single server disallow's squads. What's the difference between C2 and C3 in this regard?

Higher pro to newbie ratio? Dunno, probably more of a challenge in this easy game, C2 was harder in comparison

You can't really say that one game is quantitatively harder. They both have their aspects that need to be mastered.
