Cellar?

Post » Wed May 29, 2013 2:41 am

Is anyone else bothered that there is a smelter and forge in the cellar? I mean it would either burn my house down or I would die of suffocation just being down there. For that to actually work there would need to be an incredible ventilation system in place, which I don't see anywhere.

Anymore I just don't bother adding the cellar and do my Smithing outside. I never really use the alter anyway and there is plenty of storage upstairs anyway.

Same way the fire pit in the Breezehome does not kill me or Lydia is the same way the Smelter in the basemant does not kill me.

I love that it's down there. Cuz now I can get work done without being attacked outside every 5 minutes! Plus, stacking ingots... can be a good AND bad experience.

I added a Smelter to an interior before and used a well. I just flipped it upside down it and stuck it to the ceiling. I added a smithing area to the Abandoned House in Markarth and easily used one of the Dwemer pipes with a rotating fan.
