So i had arcade as my fellow energy weapon using companion but he has since parted ways with me since he gave me his tesla family armour and i don't think there is a way you can recruit him again unfortunately. So i recruited Veronica as the wiki say's she is proficient in energy weapons only to find out on some random forum post from 2010 that she is bugged and her energy weapon skill does not scale to 100 like it should. Is this bug still present even after all the patches we've had? if so i guess having an energy weapon using companion is pointless then, and i'm on hardcoe, so i'm sure as hell not gonna use her as an unarmed companion.

I don't think it's an issue anymore.

Note, if you have been to Bonny Springs and have picked up Love and Hate, then give those to her and she is much better Melee attacker and she won't sport the clunky power fist all the time.
