Role playing paladin build need help

Post » Thu May 30, 2013 4:32 pm

So I have started a new character with a paladin theme, the main idea was for him to be meridiahs champion or something and use sun/fire powers to defeat undead, vampires, necromancers ect.
Major skills would be one handed, block, restoration
Minor skills smithing, enchanting, heavy armour, archery
Spells to specialise in would be the restoration ones like sun fire, vampires bane, repel undead ect.
Sword would be dawnbreaker
Shield would be dawn guard rune shield
Armour would be dawn guard or blades armour
Bow will be auriels bow and sunhollowed arrows
Basically like a sun warrior type character to kill undead and vampires so if anyone has any advice for perks or skills I should use or armour or equipment that would suit this character maybe an enchantment I would use for my armour, even quests you think I should do. Any advice or input is welcome I'm not great at trying different character builds.
Also I play ps3 so no point suggesting any mods :(

'Laid to Rest' in Morthal is a good quest to kick off a 'vampire hunter' roleplay, maybe start there. It might also be suitable to use a little alteration, just for Magelight and Candlelight, fits with the theme - or better, look for a staff of that effect.

Yes laid to rest is a good one thank you, yes I had thought of using a little alteration for extra protection as well think I will add it to my minor skills thanks

Bloodlet Throne is an obvious vampire quest as is the 'Folly' (Can't remember first name. It's a cave on the road from Falkreath to Riften.)

Maybe after doing Laid to rest, would suggest doing the Solitude Vampire Misc. Quest, there's a lot of them in that area. I don;t know what Armor I would reccomend though, But probably something with a High Collar so those Vamps can't bite you

If you plan on being a paladin/undead hunter type guy, you may want heavy armor, a shield and absolutely do some of the temple quests.
