DLC faux pas

Post » Fri May 31, 2013 10:58 am

Well we are once again on the cusp of a DLC release. While that's cool there's new stuff coming, I can't help but remember how c2 dlc's went down. While $15 isn't really a big deal to some by charging $ you will again have severely divided the remaining MP base. I would have thought Crytek learned something from c2 dlc's in that we all complained that we paid for the maps yet never had a chance to use them because no admins ran dlc servers and only a fraction of ppl actually bought the DLC's. This is a shame b/c even I, someone who isn't in business or software engineering know that without change history will repeat itself. I think Crytek should have been a little less money oriented in the interest of player retention and somewhat see this paid dlc as a slap in the face because barring a miracle, the dlc won't be used, the weapons will be complained about as thy migrate into non dlc maps....and the wheel goes round and round. Wise up Crytek... :(

It's sad because buying the DLC and playing the DLC are two completely separate things.

I hate children and teenageers on here. They all whine to expensive. CHRIST ITS JUST A MEASLY 15 BUCKS. To advlts that is pocket change. Just go ask your parents if you have been good you should be able to get it. to the teenagers get a job. $15 is NOTHING!
