Apparently if you simply license transfer a game to another Xbox, and then format your hard drive, the license is erased also. Perhaps I should have foresaw that, but I was definitely thinking Microsoft would be cool or something and have that license just be on the profiles associated with that Xbox, instead of the Xbox itself. Not sure when I'll be able to play Skyrim again and I just got Dragonborn last week. -_-

I read that the XBOX ONE has the feature where the game is attached to your ID and not the console. You are just one generation too early.

May be a dumb question, but I'll ask anyway......

You don't happen to still have the old Xbox or hard drive do you? I would assume not other wise this thread wouldn't have been made.... :confused:

Pretty raw deal man....Did you try re-downloading it from live? It shouldn't cost anything you already paid.
