Very good so far - I'm hoping you make more anti-companion mods such as this one

Very good, mod! I'm editing the .esp to give an alternative path (I guess another ending to the mod)
Spoiler
It's for myself and for my playthrough, and I'm so far along with the mod that I can't revert back. Plus, there are conflicts with LGNPC in terms of greetings (Jolda has no greeting other than the LGPC one).

I don't think there is a conflict with LGNPC as Jolda's greeting is filtered for specific conditions - she won't respond to you unless you have done certain things through the story and thus received the correct journal entries.

Fleur always lives in my playthroughs with her - the more you... ah... interact with her the greater the chance of keeping her alive... the scripting that occurs in the end is strictly for romantics

But I don't mind if you rewrite her - modding a mod is pretty normal around here

I added a couple more paths as I wanted a happy ending. If the player has a really high speechcraft skill, Fleur will stay forever so to speak. Maybe I will add some more features if she stays - companion share, cooking, more dates...etc. I wanted her to have a schedule but it's difficult to do it seamlessly so that will wait until OpenMW.

I did skip ahead because I was told to go to Jolda but she had the usual LGNPC greeting. Oh well. The 9 and 1/2 weeks have passed and Fleur stayed. Will it be alright if the mod is hosted in a more permanent place - and while I'm at it, eventually upload the expanded version? Just wanted to know

Is there any way I can bring up topics that have disappeared or a console command to move foward? Your writing is quite addictive and I have to find out what happens

Hmm... Fleur will wander off to other places along the way - normally she needs to rest and recover for at least 3 days before moving on though she doesn't like Ald-ruhn very much

I have got the mod open in front of me and she has a global script running while in Ald-ruhn which sends her during the day to the Guild of fighters - she doesn't leave there until 4pm when she returns to the Inn

Not sure why she is not going - the script worked fine in the test runs I did - though Kir would probably slap me around with a wet fish for over writing the scripts.

In dialogue she is supposed to wait until localdayspassed >= 3 happens before moving on

Am a little uncertain about giving you a console command to get her moving again after 3 days as she needs to also give you some journal entries

You could post a copy of the variables you are seeing after 3 days - open the console and type SV and then copy that into a reply for me to look at - if absolutely desperate click on fleur while the console is open and set BM_Maidservice to 1 then take her to the Inn and if she follows try her dialogue there

Alas this mod remains a complex and fragile piece - much like Fleur herself

However thank you for the kind words about her dialogue - hope you get to have fun with her in Gnisis - btw I'd love to know how you looked after her in Balmora

Yay - you got to Suran

This can be tricky if you go all shy on her or if you haven't done the appropriate actions in Balmora

Let's go through the dance moves here

Spoiler

So you found a great mistake on my path which got your blood boiling but with no where to go - I am sorry

If you are truly desperate and want a fix you can enter a console command of set BM_Healingtouch to 18 and then go talk to Helviane - let me know if that fixes it - it may break other things later on - or if you have a Balmora save perhaps not averting your eyes could be a really good thing

BTW Fleur is gender neutral so you can be as gentlemanly or ladylike to her as you want or give in and be as caring and as romantic as you wish with her - for females there is even more dialogue options in meeting Nels Llendo for the first time - what he says can make a lot of sense later on and a rather nasty experience for Imperial females can be gained in Balmora.

As Jennifer Hale said about playing Commander Shepard "I play as a paragon but sometimes it's best to chose the renagade option"

I do hate CTD's - they can be caused by so many different things - sometimes not even related to the mod you think they are

However...

I'll try and debug it for you - let's do the steps - first did the CTD occur during dialogue or at the end of dialogue? If during dialogue then she has been asked to do something in the results box that has gone awry if at the end of dialogue then a script is malfunctioning - likely because it is calling something that isn't there

This particular event can end in a cut scene which I'll talk about in the spoiler section however do check 2 things first - 1. In the Data files folder look in the video section there should be a bik file called BM_Backrub.bik if that's missing then yes you will get a CTD - if you have set the Morrowind Code Patch to run video in a different format that might cause the video to not play correctly if you have an old PC then it might spit the dummy at running bik files over a certain size - this one is 33mb the opening sequence for the game is 23mb

However let's try and get the sequence right

Spoiler

Hope this helps - I understand how frustrating it can be when a mod doesn't work the way you expect - I do very much appreciate the feedback though and if Fleur lives again I'll know what to fix before version 1.3 comes out

It was definitely the cut scene. The music would just start for a second then crash without any of the video showing. I opened up Morrowind Code Patch and noticed an option for Hi-def cutscene support, I checked the box and applied that patch and now it works perfectly.

Sometimes saying you love someone is saying only what you think the other person wants to hear - which in my experience never ends well

I suggest you keep your save before talking to Dratha and try the different options as you will get very different endings - I'll add a spoiler if you really want to hang onto for a bit longer

I finally finished this mod and I can’t really describe how fantastic it was! I wouldn’t say Fleur is an anti-companion. Fleur was a wonderful companion, just useless in a fight and not willing to lend a helping hand. Her story kept me interested and always looking to find out more. I liked that she did her own thing for days at time, leaving the player to their own devices. What made it really stand out for me were the NPC’s that received new life, all of which were great but Mistress Dratha could not be written better, you hit the mark with her. The dialogue between her and the player is priceless.

Thank you for making this available and thank you for guiding me around, I really appreciated it. This will definitely stay in the load list as it is one of the most enjoyable mods I have played. I’m positive that there are still some stones left unturned and I’ll have a great time finding them.

Thank you so much for the very nice review

Am glad Dratha came off well - it was hard stepping inside her head, however it was a highlight to write for her

As for the dreams...

Spoiler

The mod does have a working title of 9 and 1/2 weeks for a reason... if you haven't already passed that 9 1/2 weeks it is best to keep an eye on Fleur until that time is up... all stories eventually have endings.

All the very best with the rest of your adventures in Vvardenfell :)

I just had the same problem and I'm using version 1.02. I needed the console command to get her moving. Strangely, when I looked at the command, it was set to 2. Anyway we just got to Balmora and this is proving to be quite fun. Thank you.
